Using reading points

One reading question or selected-text explanation

4 points

One passage, literal and interpretive Chinese translations

1 point

Translations currently target Chinese. One complete passage may contain up to 4,000 Unicode code points; the total context is bounded. A question uses the current book’s authorized tools and recent conversation, not an unlimited task.

Payment and renewal

The monthly subscription is US$5 / month. Each successful monthly payment grants 100 reading points. The yearly subscription is US$50 / year, charged in full each year; each successful yearly payment grants 1,200 reading points together, not in monthly instalments. The selected plan automatically renews monthly or yearly until cancelled in the Creem customer portal. Purchased points accumulate with no expiry; cancelling stops future renewal and keeps points already delivered. AI use is not unlimited. Each verified account may receive 10 trial points once, automatically when eligible and campaign funds are available. One passage with separate literal and interpretive Chinese translations costs 1 point; one reading question or selected-text explanation costs 4 points. The exact price is shown before paid work begins. Applicable taxes and the final total appear at Creem checkout.

Trial and interface languages

10 trial points once per verified account, automatically granted when eligible and campaign funds are available. Use Leafhour in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. Interface language does not change the translation target: new translations currently target Chinese.

Saved results and self-hosting

Points are reserved while work runs and consumed only after a valid result is saved. Failed, cancelled or undelivered work does not consume purchased points. Reopening a saved result is free. Leafhour is open source under AGPL-3.0. Self-hosting does not require Creem or a reading-point purchase; operators provide their own model service and cover its costs.

Before purchasing

Purchased points accumulate with no expiry. Cancelling stops future renewal and keeps points already delivered. Points are service rights on this instance, not cash or transferable funds. Read the terms and refund policy before checkout.
